Facebook Latest Video Updates
In this high-tech, advanced world, nearly everyone is available on Facebook to get in contact with other people. During every day scrolling on Facebook, we encounter loads of videos either shared by our friends or pages that we like. Today, Facebook is bringing more new updates to give its users a great video watching experience. Below are some newest updates Facebook has just introduced;
Video Sound in News Feed
Before the new update, we used to see videos playing silently in the news feed, you had to tap on the volume to hear music or sound. As more people are using Facebook on their mobile phones, they want to enjoy sound while watching videos. So, Facebook is slowly bringing music or sound to more people who use Facebook on their mobile device.
Vertical Video
Facebook is also working on making vertical videos look more flexible and better. Last year, Facebook tested a preview of Vertical Videos before making it live. People found it great and responded positively.
Facebook Video App
On the increasing demand of Facebook Videos, Facebook has decided to launch a new app called Facebook Video App that will roll out very soon in the future for the consumers of Apple TV, Samsung Smart TV, Amazon Fire TV and more. Here’s what Facebook has to say about its new app,
‘’Our video app for TV is a new way to enjoy Facebook videos on a bigger screen. With the app, you can watch videos shared by friends or Pages you follow, top live videos from around the world, and recommended videos based on your interests. You can also catch up on videos you’ve saved to watch later, as well as revisit videos you’ve watched, shared or uploaded. We look forward to seeing how people use the app to enjoy Facebook videos in a new way.’’
Watch & Scroll
That’s biggie and probably one of my best updates from Facebook, allowing you to watch your favorite videos while scrolling through News Feed. The video keeps playing in the corner of the screen when you’re browsing in News Feed. You can drag it to any side of the screen, depending on your preferences.
